(HISTORICAl North Atlantic Treaty Organization)

Agenda Item-I Weaponization of Space

Since the USA proposes a space based missile defense and attack program, NATO members are splitted over its outcomes. Some countries consider it as a bold move against the USSR while some countries think that this move can destabilize the nuclear weapons. There are environmental problems as well. Delegates ought to discuss the agenda with considering their politics.

Agenda Item-II Establishment of PfP and Implementation Progress

After the USSR collapsed in 1991, NATO began to want to prevent insecurity, and enlarge NATO, especially among the Warsaw Pact. That’s why, Partnership for Peace (PfP) was established in 1994. The delegates won’t discuss whether PfP should be created or not. They will discuss the implementation details of PfP between 1995-1997, such as, depth of corporation between the members of PfP, resource commitments and relations with Russia.
