(Model Organization of Turkic States)
Agenda Item-I “Combating Foreign Interference and Information Warfare Targeting the Turkic Identity”
In an increasingly interconnected world, information has become both a tool of empowerment and a weapon of manipulation. The Turkic States, bound by a shared history, culture, and language family, have increasingly found themselves vulnerable to disinformation campaigns, foreign propaganda, and coordinated digital attacks that seek to undermine regional unity and distort the Turkic identity. These threats not only target domestic stability but also hinder international cooperation and cultural preservation efforts. Additionally, foreign interference in internal affairs whether through soft power, cyber operations, or political pressure; poses a direct challenge to the sovereignty and future resilience of Turkic nations. This agenda item aims to foster joint mechanisms to detect, counter, and prevent disinformation and interference, while strengthening media literacy, regional cybersecurity, and transnational solidarity across the Turkic world.
Agenda Item-II “Strengthening the Geopolitical Role of the Turkic States in a Multipolar Order”
The global shift from a unipolar to a multipolar world has created new opportunities and challenges for regional alliances and culturally connected blocs. The Turkic States stretching from Anatolia to Central Asia occupy a strategically critical geography, rich in energy resources, trade corridors, and cultural influence. As emerging powers such as China and regional actors like Russia, the EU, and the Gulf states reconfigure their foreign policies, the Turkic world must redefine its collective stance to assert itself as a unified and influential geopolitical player. This agenda seeks to explore strategies for coordinated diplomacy, strategic autonomy, energy security, and collective decision making mechanisms within the Organization of Turkic States. It also invites discussion on how the Turkic nations can expand their presence in global platforms, mediate regional conflicts, and shape 21st century multilateralism with a shared vision.
